My main interests are in further developing the Third Ventricle Hypothesis of depression (Hendrie & Pickles, 2010) and using ethological principles to reboot the antidepressant drug discovery process following the identification of the causes of the systems failure that has led to much of the world's Pharmaceutical Industry withdrawing from this area (Hendrie & Pickles, 2013)
