Research Fellow, Thermal Ergonomics Laboratory, University of Sydney

My PhD, completed at the end of 2021 in the Thermal Ergonomics Laboratory, The University of Sydney, focussed on the relation between hypohydration and extreme heat, specifically looking at ways to combat progressive dehydration in settings with poor water resources, as well as the impact of hypohydration on the utility of electric fans as a cooling strategy during a heatwave. I am currently a member of the Thermal Ergonomics Laboratory and work as a researcher on several projects examining the spectrum of human physiological responses to extreme heat exposure, as well as techniques to mitigate thermal strain across a variety of heatwave scenarios.
