Corinne Le Quéré

Royal Society Research Professor of Climate Change Science, University of East Anglia

Corinne Le Quéré is a Royal Society Research Professor of Climate Change Science at the University of East Anglia. She conducts research on the interactions between climate change and the carbon cycle.

Professor Le Quéré is Chair of the French Haut Conseil pour le climat. She is a member of the UK Committee on Climate Change, and Fellow of the Royal Society.

Previously, she instigated and directed the Global Carbon Budget, an annual update of carbon dioxide emissions and their partitioning among the atmosphere, land and oceans, under the umbrella of the Global Carbon Project. She was also author of the 3rd, 4th and 5th Assessments of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which was awarded the Nobel peace prize in 2007.
