PhD Candidate, Department of Anthropology, McMaster University

I received my BA in archaeology at Trent University (Peterborough, Canada) and my MA in anthropology at McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario). My current doctoral research investigates adolescent experiences in the Roman Empire, considering both biological and social age changes. To investigate these changes, I examine human skeletal remains for evidence of pubertal timing, and perform biochemical analyses on teeth, primarily using incremental analysis of dietary stable isotopes.

In addition to my own research, I am an Educational Development Fellow at the Paul R. MacPherson Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Excellence in Teaching at McMaster University, and a Sessional Instructor for the Department of Anthropology and Faculty of Social Sciences at McMaster University.
