Cristina Banks-Leite

Lecturer in Life Sciences, Imperial College London

I study the impacts of environmental changes (deforestation, logging, climate change) on species to extinction, and how species loss leads to the disruption of ecosystem functions and services.

I also research ways that species extinction and loss of ecosystem functionality can be prevented, by finding a middle ground between conservation needs and human welfare.
