Dan Degerman is Leverhulme Early Career fellow in Philosophy at the University of Bristol. His work explores issues at the intersection of politics, emotions, and mental health. These topics are brought together in his book, Political Agency and the Medicalisation of Negative Emotions, which was recently published Edinburgh University Press. Currently, Dan is researching experiences of silence in mood disorders and their implications for ethics and policy.
