Associate Professor Companion Animal Epidemiology, Royal Veterinary College

Dan is Associate Professor in Companion Animal Epidemiology. He works entirely within the VetCompass Programme . His work focuses on generating a reliable evidence base that can support improved welfare in companion animal species. His research uses clinical data shared with primary-care and referral veterinary practices to investigate a wide range of health and welfare issues in companion animal species, with particular emphasis on the breed-related health. Dan chairs the UK Brachycephalic Working Group and is an Associate Editor of the Journal for Small Animal Practice.
