Daniel Hellinger

Professor Emeritus of International Relations, Webster University

Daniel Hellinger is Fullbright Professor in the Department of Contemporary History of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

He holds the Ph.D. from Rutgers University and has published widely on Latin American affairs, as well as on politics in the United States. His academic books an articles include a several books on the history and politics of Venezuela, a more general text on Latin American politics, and a recent book examining conspiracism in the United States in the age of Trump. He spent most of his full time career at Webster University in St. Louis and is currently research populist movements in Spain.
