Adjunct professor, University of Sydney

Dan Lunney is adjunct professor in the School of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Sydney, honorary scientific fellow at NSW department of Planning, Industry and Environment, and research associate at the Australian Museum.

He specialises in ecology and conservation biology, with a particular interest in mammals, forests, threatened species and ecological history. He has also been involved in a various policy discussions, including wildlife management options, selection and management of national parks, and he has been a member of the Threatened Species Committee and Animal Ethics Committee.
