I'm a postdoctoral research associate with experience in oral microbiology (biofilms, candida and bacterial interactions, infection modeling, tissue engineering, and oral microbiome).

I'm currently working on the genetic basis of Streptococcus pneumoniae virulence, characterising genes involved in how this bacterial species causes infection and disease.
