Darren Roberts is a medical specialist (FRACP) in clinical pharmacology, nephrology and addiction medicine. Other training includes a PhD in clinical pharmacology/toxicology and post-FRACP fellowships in clinical toxicology (NSW) and nephrology/vasculitis (Cambridge, UK). He is the medical director of the NSW Poisons Information Centre, a clinical toxicologist/pharmacologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital (Sydney) and Conjoint Associate Professor at University of New South Wales. His research interests are in the broader fields of pharmacotherapy and evidence based medicine, including guideline development to facilitate the translation of research into practice and the use of dialysis treatments in clinical toxicology.
