David Bann

David is an Associate Professor in Population Health at UCL. He works on topics such as obesity, physical activity, mental health, and health inequality. He also helps develop UK cohort studies and teaching/supervision at BSc to PhD level.

His areas of research interest are in health inequality and the social determinants of health; epidemiology of obesity and body composition, physical activity and mental health; comparative research across time/ country; and genetically informed research.
