Senior Lecturer, Management School, University of Liverpool

BA(Hons), MSc (Distinction), PGCHE, FHEA

I am Senior Lecturer in Business & Sports Management at the University of Liverpool, Management School. My responsibilities include teaching on the MBA in Football Industries, and the delivery of executive education, and continuing professional development (CPD) provisions within the school.

My research investigates the management of consumption experiences and the study of markets from an interdisciplinary perspective, contributing to the growing ‘marketing-as-practice’ field. Through my work, I seek not only to better understand and explain our world but, based on the assumption that our world is far from perfect, to also contribute to informed choices about how it could be changed. I see professional sport as an ideal platform to investigate fresh and alternative ways of understanding the nature and effects of markets, consumers, organisation and management.
