David Forrest

David Forrest is a PhD candidate in Creative Writing at the University of the Sunshine Coast. His primary creative writing research interests are in literary studies, football studies, visual arts history, and detective fiction. His Research Masters (2021) project includes what may be the first investigation of the football goal net in creative non-fiction. His PhD research project focuses on literary hoax and art forgery and explores how literary hoax can be utilised to disrupt the conventional art forger memoir.
