David Lewkowich

David is an Associate Professor in the Department of Secondary Education at the University of Alberta, with a research background in literacy education, reading experience, psychoanalytic theory, and comics literature. In his teaching, he invites indeterminate curiosity into the classroom, and encourages experimentation on the way to building and dwelling with knowledge. Current interests and passions include ASMR, noise-making, old toys, and the cultural history of teachers in comics.
