Professor, Global Development Studies, and Director, Municipal Services Project, Queen's University, Ontario

David McDonald is a professor of Global Development Studies at Queen's University, Canada, and Director of the Municipal Services Project (MSP). His research focuses on debates over public versus private services, encompassing a broad range of related questions on urbanization, environmental justice and uneven development. As Director of the MSP he has coordinated research on public services in over 50 countries around the world, working with academics, policy makers, labour unions, NGOs, community groups and activists.
