I am the Research Director at academyEX and Adjunct Professor at the University of Canterbury. I have previously held academic roles at Southampton Solent University in the UK and Massey University in New Zealand, as well as senior training and consultancy roles in the software industry. I have a master's in Computer Science and a PhD in Information Technology and have research interests in the role of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in education, agile and lean approaches to the leadership of learning, innovative approaches to teaching, learning and curriculum design, and contemporary software development methods.
