Doctoral Candidate, UMass Boston

Dennis Jjuuko is a Ugandan active in conflict resolution and peace-building especially in the Great Lakes Region of Africa. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate of Global Governance and Human Security at the John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston where he is researching conflict survivors' agency in transnational justice frameworks. Dennis is an alumnus of the Peace, Security and Development Fellowship for African Scholars of the African Leadership Centre at King's College London, and a former Visiting Fellow at the University of Johannesburg. He has written extensively on peace and security in Africa's Great Lakes Region and has published with reputable journals like African Security.
