I am an optometrist, gaining my qualification in Lebanon in 2015. Having worked in Beirut Eye and ENT Specialist Hospital, I gained experience in clinical optometry, specifically in paediatric optometry, binocular vision and orthoptics.
I completed my MSc degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2018 and am currently a first year PhD student in vision sciences. My research focuses on short and long-term changes in ocular measurements – such as choroidal thickness and axial length in hyperopia (farsightedness ) and amblyopia ( lazy eye) .
