Diane Gow

Diane is a lecturer in the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southampton, specialising in medical law, human error, and patient safety. She also developed a support service for students who wish to raise concerns arising in practice, or who have been directly involved with an adverse event. The service was cited as ‘outstanding’ by the NMC and recommended for dissemination nationally. It also featured in the 2013 Government Review of NHS Hospital Complaints as an example of excellence
