Professor, School of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Sydney

I lead the integrative ecology research group in the School of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Sydney. My group focuses on the ecology of animals in cities and their interactions with the environment, looking at how nature persist, thrives, and declines in cities. My recent work in urban ecosystems examines how human activities affect ecosystem health, and conversely how human wellbeing is affected by our interactions with nature. I have a fondness for insects, spiders and birds.
