Dillon Thomas Browne

Assistant Professor, Psychology, University of Waterloo

Dr. Browne is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment at the University of Waterloo. He holds a PhD in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Toronto. Dr. Browne completed his doctoral and postdoctoral residency in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. Here, he engaged in advanced training in psychotherapy with children and caregivers who have experienced trauma and family therapy. Dr. Browne has also conducted extensive research in the areas of children's mental health, adverse childhood experiences, family relationships, and human development. Dr. Browne works with a number of community agencies in Ontario to promote the integration of research and clinical practice.
