My doctoral research examines how biodiversity of ancient marine ecosystems responded to large climate and geographical changes through time. I am using the Paja Formation faunas of Colombia (~115-130 Ma) as a model system to investigate how the ancient marine ecosystems spanning the establishment of the Hispanic Corridor evolved with an emphasis made on high ecological trophic levels.
