Dolf Gielen

Dolf Gielen is a fellow at the Payne Institute at the Colorado School of Mines and the director for technology and innovation at the International Renewable Energy Agency, a position he has held since 2011. He holds a Ph.D. from Delft University of Technology in Delft, the Netherlands and has studied Chemical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology and Environmental Sciences at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Prior to joining IRENA he has worked for the International Energy Agency and the United Nations.
