I gained my LLB from Trinity College Dublin. I completed my PhD in Irish constitutional history in University College Dublin. I was the recipient of the Irish Legal History’s Studentship during his PhD studies. I was a lecturer in the Universities of Portsmouth and Surrey before joining the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History in Frankfurt am Main in 2016.
My interests are primarily in the area of constitutional law, legal history, jurisprudence, and comparative constitutional law.
