Visiting Professor of Building Physics, University of Bath

Doug King wants to change the construction industry paradigm. He is a new kind of interdisciplinary construction professional: A Building Performance Expert, working to fill the gaps between the conventional construction disciplines. Doug believes passionately that universal capability in low impact, resource efficient construction is essential not just to the future success of the industry but to the future of humankind. This attitude informs and enriches every aspect of his professional life.

Doug has been ranked amongst the most influential figures in "sustainable construction" in the UK. He has been awarded Fellowships of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Institute of British Architects and has numerous other awards for design. He is probably best known however, for his persistent denouncement of EcoBling used to disguise poorly designed buildings.
