Dr Kim McLeod is Senior Lecturer in Sociology in the School of Social Sciences at The University of Tasmania. Kim aims to understand how we might harness cultural and social diversity as a strength in healthcare and education contexts. Her books include 'Wellbeing Machine: How Health Emerges from the Assemblages of Everyday Life' (Carolina Academic Press, 2017) and 'Culture, Diversity, and Health: Towards Culturally Safe Health Care' (with Tinashe Dune and Robyn Williams, Routledge, 2021). Kim has received national and international funding for multidisciplinary health and education research projects.
