Lecturer in Human Geography, University of Sydney

Rebecca Cross is a lecturer in Human Geography in the School of Geosciences and a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Life and Environmental Sciences. Her research interests are founded in rural geography and sociology at the nexus of human/nature interactions, with a focus on natural resource management, regenerative and sustainable agriculture, farming sub-cultures, local knowledge and citizen science, Indigenous land and food knowledge, grass-roots innovation and agroecological extension. Rebecca currently works on an ACIAR funded project in NW Cambodia and is involved in other projects related to carbon farming and native grasses for grains in NSW.
