Dr Dror Ben-Naim, is an Adjunct Lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Engineering at UNSW, Professor of Practice and Co-director, Center of Education Through Exploration, Arizona State University and the founder and CEO of Smart Sparrow, an ed-tech company pioneering adaptive and personalised learning technology.

Before founding Smart Sparrow, Ben-Naim led a research group in the field of Intelligent Tutoring Systems and Educational Data Mining at UNSW. Ben-Naim developed the Adaptive eLearning Platform during his PhD research, a project that attracted significant traction and funding and successfully expanded into a multi-university project involving many top universities in Australia.

In 2011, Ben-Naim and his fellow researchers founded Smart Sparrow to take Adaptive Learning to the next level with a very ambitious mission –to empower teachers to make the world a smarter place.
