Research Fellow in Environmental Engineering, Trinity College Dublin

Dunzhu Li researches the detection and removal of emerging pollutants in water and wastewater over the last 10 years.

He completed his PhD at the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering at Trinity College Dublin in 2018. He then worked as a Research Fellow in the Centre for Research on Adaptive Nanostructures and Nanodevices (CRANN) at TCD.

Dunzhu's work concerns two main aspects. One, the quick detection and release mechanism analysis of emerging pollutants, such as microplastics and two, finding the most cost-effective method for controlling and removing these pollutants.
