Eliezer Sanchez-Lasaballett

Eliezer Sánchez-Lasaballett holds a PhD (Law) from the University of Newcastle for his thesis in comparative contract law, and has been published in the Uniform Law Review (OUP-UNIDROIT). Mr Sánchez is a Business and Contract Law lecturer at the Newcastle Law School. He obtained an LLM (Law & Development) from the University of Manchester, UK and a degree in Law with Cum Laude distinction from the ‘Andrés Bello’ Catholic University (UCAB) in Venezuela. As a lawyer, he worked for civil, commercial, transport and banking law courts and, as a sole practitioner, in contract, property and employment law in Venezuela. He also acquired broad experience in contract procurement as a coordinator for social programs supported by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
