Eliza Skelton is a health behaviour scientist in the Faculty of Health and Medicine at the University of Newcastle. She is motivated by research in priority populations such as persons with a substance use disorder, serious mental illness, and at risk of or homeless. She is currently trial coordinator on a number of smoking cessation trials among priority populations. In her recent work, she conducted a clinical trial of pharmacological and behavioural supports to quit tobacco smoking for persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Eliza holds a PhD (Psychiatry) from the University of Newcastle.
