Associate Professor in Finance, University of Sydney

Dr Eliza Wu is an Associate Professor in Finance at the University of Sydney Business School. She received a Ph.D. in Finance and a joint Honours degree in Economics/Econometrics from UNSW. Eliza has broad experience in teaching and researching within Banking and International Finance and specialises in international banking, sovereign credit risk, financial market integration and emerging financial market issues. Her research has been published in reputable finance journals. She is an associate editor for several academic journals including the Journal of Banking and Finance. Outside of academia, Eliza has worked in the Economic departments at the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Bank for International Settlements in the Representative Office for Asia and the Pacific in Hong Kong.
