Evergreen Assistant Professor of Counseling Psychology and Human Services, University of Oregon

Elizabeth Budd is an Evergreen Assistant Professor in the Counseling Psychology and Human Services Department within the College of Education at the University of Oregon. She is also a member of the Health Promotion Initiative and a Scientist at the Prevention Science Institute. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in public health. Her research is focused on early chronic disease prevention and promoting health equity. She is especially interested in policy and how social and physical environments of youth and adolescents influence their physical activity and eating. She is also committed to promoting health by addressing and preventing body size bias and discrimination across settings.
