After completing my undergraduate degree with honours at Deakin University in Melbourne in 2015, I worked for an environmental services company, before commencing my PhD at the Australian National University, Canberra in 2016 under professor David Lindenmayer. My research is focused on the often over-looked underground soil environments in Mountain Ash forests, and how they are impacted by disturbances such as logging and fire.
