Ellen Barnidge is Associate Professor in Behavioral Science and Health Education in the College for Public Health and Social Justice at Saint Louis University. She is a community-engaged scholar whose research examines social determinants of health, such as access to nutritious food, using environmental and policy interventions. Her current work focuses on identifying and addressing basic resource needs in health care settings and examining the systems that enable resource insecurity to persist.
