Adjunct Associate Lecturer in Palaeontology, Flinders University

I am a palaeontologist specialising in fossil birds, particularly in regards to comparative morphology and taxonomy. My Honours project described two 20 million year old fossil species of rails (Aves: Rallidae) from St Bathans in New Zealand, which was subsequently published in 2018. My PhD, completed in December 2021, focused on the taxonomy and morphological descriptions of fossil Accipitridae (eagles, hawks, and Old World vultures) from across Australia.
