Emil Temnyalov is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Technology Sydney. He holds a PhD in Economics from Northwestern University (2015) and is an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow (2020-2023).
Emil works on microeconomic theory and industrial organisation. His research is motivated by questions with significant policy implications and social welfare consequences, such as for example in the fields of public policy, innovation, antitrust and regulation. His research has been published in leading field journals such as the RAND Journal of Economics and AEJ:Microeconomics.
