Emily Cock is a Lecturer in Early Modern History at Cardiff University. She researches medicine, disability and the body in Britain c.1600-1800, especially in relation to the face. She is the author of 'Rhinoplasty and the Nose in Early Modern British Medicine and Culture' (Manchester University Press, 2019).
