Emily Costello

Beginning in the summer of 2023, Emily is working on an initiative to regionalize The Conversation's model and forge additional collaborations to support local news organizations. Part of this work involves building trust between universities and local reporters.

Emily is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and Barnard College. She is a member of the first journalism cohort for Take the Lead: 50 Women Can Change the World.
