I research and publish within the area of nutrition psychology. Specifically, myself and the research centre I work withinin (the Brain Performance and Research Centre http://www.nutrition-neuroscience.co.uk/ ) investigate whether the foods, drinks and supplements we consume on a daily basis exert biological and psychological effects in humans. This includes tea, coffee, compounds in chocolate and wine, fish oils, beetroot, essential oils, vitamins. We also test many of these products for industrial companies (e.g. Bayer pharmaceuticals).
