Emmanuel Tamufor is a PhD candidate at the department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics and the Guelph Institute of Development Studies, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He holds a MA in Environmental Policy from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He also has a MA in International Relations from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon and the University of Ca Foscari, Venice, Italy. He has a Bachelor's degree in Geography (physical Geography) from the University of Yaounde1, Cameroon. He has some ENGO experience in Africa where he served in various capacities, including relations with government and other partner organizations. Emmanuel is a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Geography and the Guelph Institute of Development Studies, University of Guelph, Canada. He has been working on issues related to governance, public/environmental policies (domestic and international), decolonization, reconciliation, biodiversity conservation, among others, in both professional and academic life. His most recent guest lecture at the University of Guelph was on decolonization movements in Africa and Canada.
