Emmeke B. Kooistra

Emmeke Kooistra obtained master's degrees in Clinical Forensic Psychology and Legal Psychology from the University of Amsterdam and Maastricht University. During her studies she had a focus on research using a broad range of statistical methods. Currently she is working as a researcher at the University of Amsterdam, School of Law, with a focus on criminology and compliance. Her interests lie with the influence of social sciences on public and legal policymaking and the gap between [legal] psychology and practice.
