After my BSc and MSc in Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University (NL), I worked at the University of Bristol (UK), before starting my PhD at Bournemouth University (UK). After my PhD I became a lecturer at AECC University College (UK), and later at Bournemouth University (UK). I recently started working as an assistant professor at Maastricht University campus Venlo (NL), and the Laboratory of Behavioural Gastronomy.
My research interests are focused on human eating behaviour and behaviour change. In recent years I have specifically focused on the eating behaviour of older adults.
