Doctor en Estudios de Asia y África por la Universidad Humboldt de Berlín y Postdoctoral Fellow en la Universidad de Göttingen. Master por la London School of Economics.

Líneas de investigación: imperialismo, capitalismo financiero, trabajo y dinero, en particular en Nigeria y Guinea Ecuatorial.
