Erica Todd is a molecular biologist whose research uses the latest genomic approaches to understand more about the ecology, evolution and reproductive biology of marine and freshwater species. Her past work has revealed how fishes can change their sex through genome-scale changes in gene activity and epigenetics, and how historical changes in climate and riverine connectivity have shaped Australia's unique freshwater biodiversity.
