Erin Dobbelsteyn

PhD Student in Environmental Law, L’Université d’Ottawa/University of Ottawa

Erin Dobbelsteyn is a PhD student at uOttawa's Faculty of Common Law. She is conducting doctoral research at the intersection of environmental law, human rights, and planetary health. Her PhD project uses feminist legal theories to critique and re-imagine the meaning, scope, and implementation of the right to a healthy environment to better protect the health and well-being of both humans and the community of life on Earth.

Erin holds an LLM from uOttawa, a JD with a specialization in health law and policy from Dalhousie University, and a BSc in Neuroscience from McGill University.
