Erin is a paleontologist and ecologist who enjoys sharing her love of science with people of all ages, and using hands-on projects to engage people with the natural world. Erin is the program manager for the Lens on Climate Change project. Erin holds a Master's in Geology from the University of California and a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Colorado. She has worked with outreach and mentoring programs such as the Biological Sciences Initiative and Research Experiences in Solid Earth Sciences for Students. Her professional interests include understanding the impacts of current and past climates on biological systems, helping scientists who work on multi-disciplinary projects to collaborate, and bringing current research into K-12 classrooms.
