I am Research Assistant and the Focal Point of « École Régionale post-universitaire d’aménagement et de gestion intégrés des Forêts et Territoires tropicaux » (ERAIFT) in the Biosphere reserve of Luki in Democratic Republic of Congo. ERAIFT is a +Category II Centre under the Auspice of UNESCO. I have worked for several years in the fields of agroforestry, training and research in the environment, forestry, food security and climate change sectors. My current research at Luki Biosphere Reserve focuses on caterpillars consumed by the population with the objective of analyzing the determinants for their sustainable production and their inclusion in the management measures of Luki Reserve, the fight against food insecurity and wealth creation
