Eunjee Kwon

Eunjee Kwon is an Assistant Professor of Real Estate at the University of Cincinnati. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Sogang University, Korea, and master’s and doctorate degrees in economics from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Kwon’s research focuses on urban and real estate economics. Particularly, her research agenda explores the socio-demographic implications of the system of the cities and the relevant policies, such as transportation, land use, housing, and education. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Urban Economics and her research won several awards including dissertation Award, American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (2020); Research Awards, Lusk Center for Real Estate (2019); Haynes Lindley Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship (2018).

Dr. Kwon has also collaborated with various research institutions and government bodies, including the World Bank, the Center for Economic Social Research (CESR), the City of Los Angeles, and the Lusk Real Estate Center at the University of Southern California. Her work has been featured in the LA Times and the Academic Times. She serves as a co-organizer of the Online Spatial and Urban Seminar (OSUS), hosted by Urban Economics Association.
